Our last days in Etechnology fro semester 1

   Man this semester has gone by really fast, and I can't believe that I will not be coming back to this class anymore after this week.
  This has been such a great class and I cannot believe that our time is almost done. I have enjoyed every moment of this semester from all the projects that we have done to just the simple things like cleaning our computers. My favorite unit that we did was definitively Google earth and or, the xtranormal video creator. I also had fun using excel to make spreadsheets , and learn how they operate and work.
    The other project that I found interesting were Microsoft word  since you taught us how to make envelopes, and newsletters. The other projects that I felt were nifty were; animoto, voicethread, and this cool tool blogger.


Overall this has been a wonderful class and I
 would reccomend this class to anyone..

A week in Google earth!

 Well my partner to share our Google earth tour was Goodwell. overall his tour has very good and had allot of humor in it. He showed all of his seven sites in his tour , and had a totally complete tour. The tour was very easy to see and understand as he moved from place to place. although the audio wasn't that great [ neither was mine] he explained it to me verbally on what it was about. I thought it moved at a good speed since it took a bit to explain everything thou-rally. I thought that his tour was very good ,and didn't need much improvement. The only thing that I would recommend that he would change was adding more description in the bubbles on what the place was.

Back from a short break :(

     I cant believe that our winter break went by that slowly, and I am not ready to come back to finish off this semester yet. But I had an amazing break from a non-white Christmas to spending the new year in Chicago. I could not think of any resolutions that I wanted to make so I guess all I want to do is Pass my freshman year and look forward to being a sophomore.
 Overall so far for Q2 I am very happy with my grade in this class,and i looking forward to begin creating a virtual tour on Google earth. I have not begun this project yet but I will be starting my research today.

Itz one week from christmas break!

        Today i'm going to blog about fantasy football. It is a very important week for all the fantasy owners. It is the playoffs and right now after the Falcons creamed the Jaguars giving me 32 points for Micheal turner, and Falcons defense and special teams. Im winning 168 points to a meas-ally 107. He has his whole team left to play for this week but Winning by 51 points, and having Wes Welker, and Cam Newton left to play i don't think that all have any problem winning this round of the playoffs.
        If I win this week i'll be playing my eastern division rival that's 11-2 with one of his losses coming to me. My team is 9-4 but I've been on a roll lately winning 3 straight, and hope fully this weeks match up. I'm choosing not start Percy Harvin because of the Vikings inconsisantcy, and their turnovers.

Friday December 9th.

 Yeah!! two more weeks until winter break :-)

         Yesterday with the fifth graders was very fun. The animoto video that I made for Will turned out really well. the only problem that we had was the music choice. If we did this again I wouldn't change a thing, since it turned out great.
         The projects that our group made on Google doc.s I believe turned out very well for us. the two things that i learned was what Creative commons was, and what copyright actually meant. The things that I've learned about doing this project will hopefully help me in future projects.
          For our next project just to let you know. I have no experience using digital photography.

First Friday of December!

 Loving the not so freezing December. I Hope it stays this nice all Winter. No snow yet.......

    The idea of blended learning is alright I guess. Its very pointless though since what the point of even coming to school? Since if you have to meet three times a week what are supposed to do for the other three days. Just roam the halls on a laptop doing a 20 minute homework assignment for a whole 50 minute period. so overall  I don't agree with this option.
The two things that I learned from watching that Google video was that they make tons of money off of these little adds. But what I really found out that was funny is that 95% of Google profit is the click of you mouse on an ad so I can just click on 100 different ads as many times as I wan per day and every time it makes the business pay them 1 dollar.
Overall our Google project is pretty cool so far but I think that the deadline might need to be extended.
