Good bye September :-(

This is my final blog of September, and I am regretting the coming snowfall.

      The digital nation video was alright I guess to have watched . What surprised me the most about watching this video was in South Korea when they actually had rehab camps for the kids that were addicted, and the doctors in that country considered this addiction a mental disorder. But what i liked about the video is that it didn't just show how bad technology was it showed the cons of it and how it helps us.
      Overall my newsletter project went pretty well and I got to learn about a couple new features on Word. Overall for this project I learned allot of new things, and was a challenge to learn all of the new features in a short period of time. But I managed to able to finish, and i think that I did a good job at doing it.
      I thought Voice Thread was a very cool Web 2.0 tool to use, and I was also very found that it was very cool since I could do my interview on my phone and just simply hang up and it would save my post.

Do you understand what Google Reader does? Explain, if you do.
    Google Reader Is a very tool that Google provides to you that organizes everything that you can do on your Google accounts on to one webpage that is very easy to use.
We began watching Digital Nation. What did you think about the claims regarding multitasking? Do you agree or disagree with the studies being done? What is your reaction to the gaming addictions of teens in South Korea?
    I thought that many of the peoples claims of how effective multitasking is for them is exactly how myself feels on multitasking. Well I agree that those studies showed that multitasking really wasn't that effective. I  still do agree that multitasking helps your brain not to get stuck on one subject at a time, and to brainstorm fresh ideas. My reaction to the gaming addictions in South Korea was appalling especially that one kid who didn't spend any time with his mother, and he was flunking out of school. But he didn't care, all that mattered to him was the game. The weirdest part was when you found out that they had special rehab camp for those addicted with that "disease".
Do you feel you have a good understanding of the project and will be able to incorporate all the requirements?
     I do feel that I do have a good understanding of what i am able to do for this project.

My 1st Post!

 What are your opinions on Moodle?
 So far for me personally moodle has been fine for me to work with. It's very easy to navigate through and the setup of the page is pretty nifty. Even though this isn't my first year using Moodle ( I used it in 8th. grade for my technology class) I think that it is Easier to use since I understand it more.


 Can you see yourself using an online course in the future?
Yes I can see myself using an online course for like High School or for like individual classes in college. But I don't thing i'd do a whole online college thing , you would miss out on a whole real life experiences of interacting with your friends. I think that the online courses would be most useful in all technology classes since they don't need to be explained in a lesson or on paper as much as like an art or history class. Also I do think that I can do a Word table on my own but I would need to
have the instructions on the names of the tools I'd be using.
