Two more days until Fall break!

       Finally the it's the end of October. Even though I am not going on any vacations over the break. I will still have a very relaxing time at home with my brother.


       Overall the voice thread project went all right. We kind had to rush since every other day one of our group members was sick, especially me. But we still got it done, and I think that it turned out alright. The only major dislike that I have about Voice Thread is that you can't organize your posts in the order that you want them in.
         I think that I do have a good idea on how to use all of the formulas on Excel even the IF functions. Also overall I think this unit has really helped on how to use Excel, and how I can use it more often for projects, and other things.

Another Friday

      Well the many projects that we have done on Excel have been very useful, and I've learned how to use it pretty well. I think that Excel can be used for allot of things like for statistics for sports games or payroll for a business. but i don't really see the need for it at school. the only thing about Excel that I find difficult is making formulas for each specific area, and it gets confusing after a while. That's why I think that we need to practice more on the formulas in class.
      I've been sick lately with a fever so I've just found out today about this whole voice thread project but I haven't been able to talk with my group yet. So yeah. Happy first week of October everybody.

Homecoming Friday! 10/ 7/11

•         Before we started this unit on Excel I had hardly ever used it before but now that we have been using it for a few projects now it is starting to become a little easier to understand and use. It is very helpful and it helps you to do allot of formulas that you would normally have to do on a calculate over, and over again just once and you just drag down, and it does it to all of the selected cells. the best part of this so far though was definitively playing battleship ( I won of course).

•         The web 2.0 tool that I chose to use was Jpeg mini . It was a tool that allowed you to upload as many pictures as you wanted to off your computer, and it would automatically shrink the file size to save you those precious Kb's( ironically this is their catch phrase). Then after it shrinks them for you can either re download them back on your computer or upload them to Flickr.
